June 2, 2025 - Prayer for parents and children.

Proverbs 22:6 - Train up a child in the way he shoudl go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.

If you feel encouraged - Please pray for your teachers, administrators, trustee's and policymakers.

Lord, you've taught us through Proverbs 22:6 to "train up a child in the way they should go." But in a world full of confusion and deception, this task can feel overwhelming at times and ask for your guidance.

I ask for your protection for my children and those in my community. Protect their bodies, their minds and their sprits from impressional messages. Guard them from lies about identity, truth and love. Let you been known to them, let them hear your voice louder than the noise. Let them know the approval of you is greater than that of any 'culture'.

Equip parents to lead by example. Give us strength when we are weak clarity and guidance when we are overwhelmed and courage when we are afraid.  Help us to reflect your love in our homes, in the way we talk and in our actions. Even when it is so difficult and frustrating to do so. 

Help us not to be passive, but present, intentional and bold in teaching our children about Jesus. Let our homes be filled withy our love, joiy and when the world is dark, let us be the light!

I lift up every child, to know your grace and love. I also pray for every teacher, administrator, trustee, and policymaker. Open their eyes to see clearly and soften hearts to discern what is right, not what is pressured by loud voices, but what is righteous and truth and aligns with your vision. Break through the confusion in the spirts, hearts and minds of those who need your guidance. Replace compromise with conviction and let those in positions of influence be guided by wisdom and courage rather than by pressure or ideologies.

I pray for your grace and guidance over our education system. Let Your Word be known again as the standard of truth, and your glory bring light to the darkness. ~ Amen 🙏
